Well, its official! Mr. & Mrs.. Let the Honeymoon begin! If you read my post, “Honeymoon Tips to Consider”, you are well on your way in the planning process. How let’s start looking at Honeymoon Destinations. So, what do you envision? Beach? Cruise? Hiking? Spa? Caribbean? European or some other exotic location?
Here at ATA, we always start off with a client questionnaire. We want to know what’s important to the clients, what’s on their wish list and what vision do they have for their Honeymoon. More common than not, the couples I have worked with seem to categorize themselves. Foodies, Wine lovers, Adventure seekers, Dive enthusiasts, History buffs, Art enthusiasts. Even when I have heard “I want to be a beach bum”, shortly after I hear “unique location”. My point is that, couples are wanting tailor made itineraries that fit who they are. Couples are “coloring outside the lines” when it comes to planning the honeymoon of their dreams. That is exactly what we, at Anytime Travel Agency, do! Tailor made Honeymoons that fit YOU!
- For the Foodie: No matter where you go, trying the local cuisine is a must! There are some great foodie destinations around the world. When you think of flavors, does the thought of Jamaican jerk chicken make your mouth water? How about the gastronomy of Spain or Italy? Or are you looking for something a little more unique? Bali, Ireland, France or The Maldives. As a curious foodie myself, I could go on & on about this. Stay tuned for future posts about the gastronomy of the world!
- The Wine Lover: Argentina, France, Portugal, California, South Africa, Italy & Spain all come to mind. There are some amazing hotels with amazing view of vineyards. If your thinking of experiencing a few locations during your Wine Lovers Honeymoon, try a Wine themed River Cruise with AmaWaterways. Their wine cruises have a special wine host and you’ll be treated to a menu of exclusive wine and culinary experiences highlighting the wonderful flavors and tastes of Europe.
- Dive into your honeymoon: You can swim among the stingrays in the Cayman Islands or dive into the Blue Hole in Belize. How about a night dive with the Manta Rays in Hawaii? Malaysia, Micronesia and Australia are also famed dive locations.
