Anniversary Travel and Vacations

” Celebrate Your Time Together.”

Anniversary Travel and Vacations

When did the celebrating begin?

Anniversaries… Why are they important? Where did they come from? No one knows precisely when wedding anniversaries were first celebrated. But the tradition is believed to go back at least to the Middle Ages. A husband crowned his wife with a silver wreath on the 25th anniversary of their wedding and a gold wreath on their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hitting the Milestones

Dates to consider when planning you Anniversary Travel and Vacations

By the beginning of the 20th century, an additional 6 anniversaries were celebrated – the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 75th year for a total of 8.

Anniversary celebrations provide a great excuse to take a trip. Whether it is a far away destination filled with adventure or a nearby inn for some rest and relaxation, take the time to celebrate the day you vowed yourselves to one another.

Anniversaries are special. The date of your marriage is an occasion worth celebrating.

Anniversary trips don’t have to be limited to the Milestones anniversaries. However, making those milestone marks are something to celebrate. Make those anniversary trips memorable ones. It doesn’t matter how many years or decades have passed since you said, ͞I do͟, an Anniversary trip is a perfect opportunity to share your love for each other and uncover a new side of your relationship. At Anytime Travel Agency, we are here to handle all the details. Unique bucket list destinations, exciting excursions, intimate moments. These anniversary trips are the perfect excuse to rediscover each other and a new part of the world.

Anniversary Travel and Vacations

1 Year

You're settled in as a married couple and your getting used to a life as a twosome! For some, there are no kids at the 1 year so it may be a little easier to travel. Take a trip and reminisce about the day you were married.

5 Years

You have learned a lot about each other in the last 5 years. Families might have been started and getting away for a big vacation will be difficult. Doing a smaller getaway is just the thing. It might even include the kids!

10 Years

Life is probably going to be the busiest it has ever been. Kids in school, maybe a baby at home. Juggling home, work, family. Quiet couple time may seem like it was long ago and hard to reach. A romantic couple's trip is necessary at ten years! Celebrate yourselves as a couple and look at all you have accomplished. Reconnect and enjoy each other. Remember what it was that made you fall in love with one another.

25 Years

The kids have probably left the house. It seems quiet and you have to learn what it’s like to be a couple again. I recommend taking an active, fun-filled adventure. You are not only celebrating a milestone anniversary, you're celebrating all that was “parenthood” and the fact that you made it through it. You could be celebrating being grandparents.

50 Years

Celebrating 50 years is a little bit more rare nowadays. If you are one of the lucky ones, CELEBRATE! Think of this as your second wedding. Celebrate, surrounded by family and friends and sharing stories of your journey together. Bring to life those feeling of the first day you met. The day you got married. Then leave on your honeymoon the next day.. This is your chance to go and do what you have always dreamed of. Let your heart lead the way, even if it seems a little extreme. You owe it to yourselves.
