There are many Island destinations to choose from. Your vacation is not just about the resort. It’s about the destination. When it comes to singling out the best island vacation location ask yourself, What’s on your travel wish list?
Now, I know what you are thinking. How do I decide?? Each year leading publications research destinations to visit. Travel & Leisure. Forbes. While researching places for clients, I get the privilege to learn about the destinations. The highlights and the changes. There have been SO many Island destinations that have stood out to me this last year. A couple that have stood out to client that I have worked with were:
- Anguilla: The first thing that comes to mind is No hustle, No bustle. This small island has no major airport. Anguilla is usually accessed by ferry boats and cruise ships. Anguilla offers up some of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in the Caribbean. People come here to relax, recharge & rejuvenate.
- St. Lucia: This smaller island is located in the Eastern side of the Caribbean. St. Lucia is known for their volcanic beaches, reefs and little quaint fishing villages. It is simply an ideal destination for romance or relaxation.
- Bali: Volcanoes, deep green jungles, stunning beaches, coral reefs and turquoise blue waters. Romance, relaxation and adventure all in one!
- Hawaii: Pristine beaches and stunning scenery. You can experience volcanoes, forests, sealife, beaches and even snow. Each island is different. The nice thing about the Hawaiian islands are they are close to each other. You can plan a trip and stay on a couple islands.
Grand Cayman, Belize, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Grenada. The list of island destinations are endless.
