What Puerto Vallarta Is Known For

Seasons In PV
PV has incredible weather that ranges from 76 to 90 degrees in the summer and 62 to 81 degrees in the winter. This makes it an ideal wedding destination. However, you should consider the different seasons because there is a rainy season as well. The rainy season runs from June through Mid-October in Puerto Vallarta. Aside from that, there is almost no precipitation for the rest of the year. Even during the rainy season, unlike in Cancun, the rain only comes in bursts, and usually only at night. It is generally hot and dry making it ideal in almost any season.
Puerto Vallarta Zones
There are a few main areas in PV, which all have their different charm:
● Downtown Puerto Vallarta: Most tourists spend time in the downtown area, with resorts, historic landmarks, and the boardwalk this is a fun place to spend time.
● Romantic Zone: Also known as the Zona Romántica or Old Town, this area has cobblestone streets and many bars.
● Hotel Zone: Most hotels are in this area, and there is also a shopping mall, along with five beautiful beaches.
● Marina Vallarta: In the northern part of PV is a hub for yachts and boats. There are also shops and a boardwalk.
● North Zone: The traditional towns of PV, has more local areas and housing.
● South Zone: Less busy and better for privacy, including beautiful beaches and botanical gardens.
