Wellness and Travel go Hand in Hand

You have heard the term Wellness Travel but let’s face it, after 2020, I am sure everyone has heard the term! If I asked you a few years ago, spa or massage probably came to mind. You also probably thought that it may be too expensive to do. Wellness travel has come a long way from that perception incorporating not just the spa/massage but also food, fitness and nature. Body, mind & spirit in a whole. And, just so you know, it is not just for the wealthy.

Given the fact that 2020 was not easy on any of us, it may be time to Relax, Recharge & Reconnect. I am not going to lie, having a massage or spa treatment while on vacation definitely enhances my mental state of mind. Regardless, if you are planning on traveling internationally or if you need to keep it local, meaning within the USA, there are many options to choose from. To give you some wellness inspiration, check out these options; Travel Weekly Wellness Guide.

Along with those, check out some of our favorites!

Wellness and Travel

Wellness and travel, in my opinion, goes hand in hand. A number of studies have shown that taking a vacation can have physical and psychological health benefits. It lowers stress, lessens the risk of heart disease, enhances productivity at work upon return, improves motivation and brain health, I could go on & on.  A wellness vacation is not one size fits all. Your wellness journey is personal and unique to you. If you are ready for a wellness vacation, the priority is finding out what you need to focus on and build a vacation around that. There is no right or wrong way.
